Of course I didn't want to pay. Don't get me started with the "why do females always feel entitled" question, you guys come after ladies, promising heaven and earth. Is it wrong if we then decide to ask for just a little favour?
Anyway, he told me how much he will charge and I immediately was annoyed. I was annoyed because I expected him to seize the opportunity and do it for free. I immediately dismissed him and made up my mind that nothing will ever happen between us or bring us together again. Until one day, several weeks after when he sent me a beautiful pencil image of myself.
it was a drawing of one of my pictures and I was very happy about it but I still wasn't interested in a relationship. There was somebody else I thought was the "right person" at that time. I of course wanted to collect the picture but again he disappointed me by saying he wouldn't release it to me. He just wanted me to know he drew me. I was irritated...it was later about two years after, when we started dating that I realized what became of my picture. My picture is pasted on his wardrobe, such that it is the first thing he sees whenever he opens the wardrobe, up till now.
To cut the long story short, I graduated from the university and I had forgotten about him as usual when one day, he showed up at my branch church. As much as he still claims he didn't come there because of me, your guess is as good as mine. Anyways,I started seeing him differently right from church and for the first time, I decided to start relating with him as a friend. In fact I gave him my bbm pin at that time.
After some weeks of chatting as friends, I realized he is quite intelligent and can be charming whenever he decides to be. He then asked a particular question in one of our chats, "is it possible that we can have a serious relationship? " At that point, I had prayed and was certain that we could give it a trial, so I told him yes there is a possibility.
So few weeks to getting my call up letter, I told him that I will think about his proposal. As at then, the person I thought was the right person had messed up, that one told me that he sees me as a younger sister and that he doesn't think God wants us together. "funny stuffs Christian men come up with right?" I later found out he got back together with his ex, someone he had been seeing at the same time he had been giving me hope.
I got my call up letter some weeks after and our fears were confirmed. I was posted to Plateau state and my guy had been very worried. He had served earlier than me and he knew what it meant for a single lady to go to NYSC camp. Especially when I was leaving him hanging. He tried all he could to get me to say yes before going to camp so that I will be committed but I didn't. I secretly wanted to get to camp and see if I will meet "better guys".
However, on the contrary, when I got to camp, every other person I met just didn't match up or fit. I met good looking guys but it just wasn't it. Right there in camp , before 3 weeks ended, I sent him a message saying YES.

How I met my husband 1
It was on a hot afternoon and I was tired and bored. All the movies and tales about high school had to be fake because having tonnes of assignments to do and bulky notes to read isn't fun.
I was on my way to my class after a short break, when a sudden beep on my phone told me I had a message. As much as phones were contrabands, some of us still had to smuggle it to school once in a while....
A part of me soared with excitement, secretly wishing it was one of my "crushes". I rushed to a corner to secretly check and I was disappointed. It was a love message quite alright, the usual love message thing but it was the anonymous sender again. I was furious, it was bad enough that I didn't know the sender, he had the guts to keep sending the messages even during school hours.
I hissed and returned to my class. The rest of the day was uneventful, so was the week until one Friday afternoon, when I believe the gods told him "it was time".... he approached me.
I was on my way to the physics laboratory when I heard my name. I looked back and I saw him, he looked very familiar. Yes! my stalker from church, don't tell me he is behind the anonymous love messages, my sixth sense told me "yes"... annoyance and irritation rose inside of me immediately. I didn't wait to listen to what he had to say, the look on his face said it all and he look rather ridiculous in the school uniform which forced senior secondary school 3 students no matter how tall to wear shorts.
I walked away, I needed to pretend this never happened but I wasn't allowed to. The following Sunday, after Sunday school, he was waiting for me. I needed to get rid of him and teach him a lesson.
It was time to inform my circle of friends, if I couldn't get rid of him alone, we could get rid of him together. So I told my closest friend then in Sunday school and you needed to see her reaction. Not that I expected anything less.. This is someone who had been stalking me since JS3, attending the same school and the same church didn't help matters. Not many people liked him in Sunday school and I doubt he had friends in school. He was a rascal and he was always getting into trouble in school.
The above story will be continued, it is a true story about my experience... I promised to share this sometimes ago. I hope it not only entertains but helps someone.....Enjoy

Read his interview below:
BSB: What did you do before atlas networks?
Tom: I worked at a think tank in Washington DC, I also had my doctorate in political science.
BSB: How did you get started in the liberty movement?
Tom: I became interested in liberty when I read Frank Bastiatt. He opened my eyes to what produces wealth and it gave me joy when I edited the book, "why liberty?". I asked Mayowa Okediran to write a literature review . I like to help defend people's rights everywhere I go.
In the 1980s, I realized with a few other people that communism is finished. I spent time helping people to understand their rights, promote constitutional democracy and freedom of speech & trade and this of course had big impact.
BSB: What challenges have you encountered so far?
Tom: There was a time I was arrested in soviet union between 1988- 1989.
BSB: Have you ever been harrassed by government for what you do?
Tom: No, we are not hassled by government or threatened in our country although government often interferes in human rights. Every problem is not unique to a particular place.
BSB: What about your family, do they love what you do?
Tom: Yes they do. My nieces and nephews believe in liberty. I'm not married but I have 3 cats and my cats are libertarians too. (laughs)
BSB: Advice for young libertarians and young people interested in government
Tom: You have to become knowledgeable.

Aggrieved Policeman Infects Underage Girls With HIV Over Dismissal From The Force, Commits Suicide Afterwards
There is so much injustice and evil in the world. According to a report by SaharaReporters, a dismissed Police officer from Cross River State has committed suicide after being accused of defiling and infecting a nine-year-old girl, and five others, with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
According to investigation by Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), the policeman was dismissed from the force for alleged gross misconduct and detained in a prison in Port Harcourt, and relocated to Bayelsa State.
Community sources said the incident, which has provoked anger among indigenes of Kolokuma/Opokuma area of the state, led to a search for the officer, but he escaped towards Trofani community in Sagbama Local Government Area, where he was reported to have committed suicide.
A source, who preferred not to be named, revealed that the six victims included a female lover, who had moved to Delta State after a test proved she was HIV positive.
“Investigation showed that the man escaped from a prison in Port Harcourt sometime last year and embarked on a defilement spree. More than five underage persons were reportedly defiled and infected with HIV,” the source stated.
“The nine-year-old girl, names withheld, was defiled recently. The victim told her mother about the act, but the mother refused to listen to her. However, when the girl could not walk properly and was sickly, the mother took her for a laboratory test and discovered that she had not only been defiled but was also HIV positive.
“We call on the Bayelsa State Commissioner of Health and the FIDA to come to the aid of the victims. They need treatment.”
Contacted on the development, spokesman of the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, said though he had heard about the incident, it had not been “officially reported to the command”.

Dealing when crap happens. --- The Three Rs
Crap happens to everyone. Crap is a messed up situation, especially one that you are not expecting. How many times have you been faced with such situations? something or a situation that catches you unawares? like when in an examination hall you discover the first three compulsory questions are from that part of your note you forgot to read and it is an examination without bonds. Or when MMM suddenly folded up and you just invested a huge sum. Yeah, i thik you've got the idea.
Crap, happens most times when we least expect it,be it a business that failed, a marriage that failed, a job offer that failed, an emotional mess or a financial mess, things don't always go the way we plan it.That you find yourself in an unpalatable situation doesn't necessarily mean it is your fault. Bad things happen to good people, life is sometimes not fair but we keep living in it.
I like to believe that it is possible to guard against ugly situations, what I mean is, it is possible to prevent impending doom or failure. What can one do?
- Always have a plan, some people even have more than a plan.Your plan shouldn't be selfish or callous, it should just be something to help you survive in case of eventualities.
- You can manage your earnings if you are into business and save up for rainy days.
- Surround yourself with the right people, this is often repeated but people still fall victim to wrong associations.
- Be committed to whatever good you are doing and for the love of God , never remain idle.
However, because crap happens to us all and sometimes we just can't control it,( say, the death of a loved one), I'd like to discuss a few things that we can try out to retain composure when or if we find ourselves in unpalatable situations.
I recently discovered the 3Rs.
- Relax
- Re-strategize
- Re-try
RELAX because you are not the only one who has to deal with unwanted and unpalatable situations. A lot of times people go through tough situations and they can not say it out. Either they are scared or they've not found the right avenue to discuss their pain. Whichever it is, it's best to realize that you are not alone and someone somewhere is probably facing worse predicaments. So relax and prepare to move on. Mopping around won't solve the situation or make you any happier.
RE-STRATEGIZE And that's because you need to learn from your mistakes, learn from your pain and move on. Pain is a good motivator, and you should channel all of that motivation into doing something new or discovering yourself in a different way. Become resilient and make sure you hang around people who can help your new resolve not the same old people who haven't been helpful.
RE-TRY because no matter how much you fail, you are not a failure until you quit and stop trying.Re-try because all hope is not lost and every cloud has a silver lining.
In conclusion, Life doesnt end at crap!. Do all you can to achieve all that you want to achieve despite the odds, keep striving, until you become what you dream of becoming. This isn't just motivation, this is the reality of life.

REPORT OF THE SUCCESSFUL LAUNCHING OF THE BOOK "BEYOND THE MARK"
One of the young ladies around me whom I so much respect, recently released her book and it was such an inspiring act. I salute her courage and resilience in bringing this to reality.
The launching of the book "beyond the mark" held on the 30th of March, 2018 at the Jubilee Christian Church International headquarters, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria.
The opening prayer was said by Pastor Mrs. Akinolujimi. The M.C of the occasion, pastor Wole Dosunmu thereafter introduced the special guests at the occasion. The guests include the General Overseer of Jubilee Christian Church International, Reverend Kunle Adesina , Gospel musician and motivational speaker Reverend Peace Toluwade, Dr. Eniolorunda of Elohim Eye Clinic, Dr Adeniyi of Biolab medical center, Mrs K.L.B Oyedele, founder of St. Birgitta N/P school and several others.
L-R Mrs K.L.B Oyedele, Orija Ponmile (BrownySays), Chinenye Sobowale, Yanmife Akisanya(author), Israel Adeyemo, Femi Amusan
The young author of the book "Beyond the mark", Yanmife Akinsanya spoke on her drive and inspiration behind the book. She also elaborated on the desire to impact others and make "living corpse" live again through the book.
Reverend Peace Toluwade, reviewed the book "Beyond the Mark" written by Yanmife I.Akinsaya chapter by chapter. He discussed the remarks in the book, the foreword which was written by Rev.Kunle Adesina and the significance of each chapter. He encouraged everyone to get the book and he re-iterated some quotes in the book. One of which is "If you change the way you see things, the things you see will change.."
Three speakers spoke on redefining success, first Dr. Eniolorunda who spoke about the book, his excitement about the book and his role in helping the writer.
Aanu Damola Morenikeji, the young founder of Abeokuta Tech summit also talked about the book and success itself. In his words, Yanmife has tried to help us define the metrics of success and happiness. According to him, it is beyond religion or the amount you have in your account. We must ensure that our generation redefines success.
Orija Ponmile, a writer and blogger encouraged everyone to get over the mediocre mentality. No matter how relative success is, we must never rest our oars. We must do more than average.
Reverend Adesina, unveiled the book for launching and several other invited guests launched the book with an undisclosed amount. Pictures were taken and the programme came to an end successfully.
I encourage everyone young person out there to dare to follow their passion and of course their dream. Nothing good is impossible for anyone to achieve if they work hard at it. Also everyone should read this book, there is a great message for all inside of it.

7 Interesting ways to gain attention
It is not new that a lot of people enjoy being shown attention, as a matter of fact even if you think you don't there is a part of you that brightens up and feels appreciated when people regard you.
So, in essence, everybody loves attention. However, not everybody gets it.
You could buy attention if you have the finance or the influence, but buying attention is different from gaining it. In this article, I have highlighted seven fun ways, anyone, even a nerd can gain attention. Read on.
So, in essence, everybody loves attention. However, not everybody gets it.
You could buy attention if you have the finance or the influence, but buying attention is different from gaining it. In this article, I have highlighted seven fun ways, anyone, even a nerd can gain attention. Read on.
Be weird
Weird is the new cool, and there is something fascinating about being uniquely different from other people. Gone are the days when weird people have to hide or pretend they do not exist, now they are the real deal.
Being weird helps you appear real and original, there is a bit of weirdness in everyone. We all have something that makes us unique it could be the way we talk, walk, eat and so on but a lot of us are afraid to be real...
Being weird makes you an inspiration to others, showing that one can be one's self no matter how awkward or different it seems. Most times weird people appear to be cool, creating new norms for others to follow.
You will gain attention for being weird because people will remember you for being weird.
You will gain attention for being weird because people will remember you for being weird.
Be ruthless
You will probably think something is wrong with me for adding this.Nothing is wrong, being ruthless is more beneficial than you think. Being ruthless does not necessarily mean that you are wicked or merciless as it implies. It means that you do not take chances or allow sentiments, you are highly determined to achieve whatever you set out to do, and you are not afraid to dare or do what it takes to succeed. It merely means you are ready to dare...who wouldn't notice such a person?
Be good at what you do
We do not need to be told this...apart from the fact that being great at what you do gets you noticed; it paves the way for great success. Being skilled and adept at whatever you do gets you noticed wherever you go.
Be helpful
When I was in the university, I realised students who tutor others become easily noticed even by lecturers. They become the first to know about opportunities. My point is, even if you are not loved by people, they will still seek for you if they are certain you will help them. Being helpful is one of the sure ways to get noticed.
Be fun and friendly
Some people don't know what it means to be fun or what it means to be friendly even. Stalking people or trying to become friends by force can make you lose potential friends. Do not try to force friendship; it has never worked for anyone. Have ideas for fun and how to have fun and be such a person that people will find it easy to relate to you, no matter how firm or competitive you are.
Be informed
It is attractive to know things. Everyone wants to stick around people who know things, ignorance has never been alluring, and it will never be. Nowadays even men looking for cheap women appreciate women that are up to date on information and happenings around the world. You do not have any excuse, learn something new daily.
Be attracted to yourself
People will only treat you half as much as you treat yourself. Does that make sense? You will hardly find people who treat you as good as you treat yourself, and if you find someone who treats you better than you treat yourself, pls marry the person.
On the long run, it may not necessarily matter if you gain the attention you want or not, you will realise you have done all these things for yourself and no matter what anybody does, what you have inside of you, what you have become cannot be taken away from you.
